Catie Turner has hit the road supporting LÉON’s Fade Into A Dream tour. The singer-songwriter played Chicago’s Vic Theater last night, which was just the second stop on what will amount to a 22-date North American run.

Turner’s 10-song opening set included favorites like “God Must Hate me”, which gained traction after a demo version went viral on TikTok, as well as her 2022 single “Nothing.” She also treated fans to unreleased songs, including “Control”, “Empty” and “Step Mom”, which Turner has only shared a demo version of on Soundcloud.

Turner rose to fame as a contestant on the 16th season of American Idol in 2018, placing in the top seven. She even payed homage to judge Katy Perry last night by covering the pop star’s hit “Teenage Dream.”

After completing a 48-city tour with her fellow American Idol finalists in 2018, Turner started working on her debut EP The Sad Vegan, which was release in 2019 and included singles “Savior” and “Breathe”. In 2020, Turner signed to Atlantic Records and has since released her second EP, Heartbroken and Milking It, including singles “Play God" and "Therapy". In addition to her two EPs, Turner has released a robust catalog of singles, like “i luv him”, “Gets Better” and “Hide and Seek”.
