Lucy Dacus isn’t letting two herniated discs keep her off the stage. The singer-songwriter has continued her tour and performed from a couch for the fifth consecutive show last night at Chicago’s Thalia Hall. As Dacus shared on Twitter "the only way I am not in pain is laying down... I am both sorry and also pleased to offer this most humiliating and hilarious moment to you."

Since the first night of the dubbed "couch tour" in Detroit, Dacus has received an outpouring of support. Her shows seem to have even more energy as fans cheer her on and praise her resilience. That was certainly apparent at last night's sold out show at Chicago's Thalia Hall. The show was a rescheduled date from last year, so fans were already eagerly waiting to hear Dacus play tracks from her highly praised 2021 album "Home Video". Dacus wasn't going to let them down - no matter what.
